Booty Cap - who knew?

Ok, so hubby and I are threatening to start working out again.  He approached this challenge by joining a gym.  Me?  I went on Etsy to see if I could find some cute clothing to motivate me.  And lo and behold, I discovered the booty cap.  I never even knew this was an option but now i want to put on my yoga pants so that i can wear one of these.  It's a cute little skirt thing-y that you put over your workout clothes so that no one needs to see your booty (until it's in shape that is).  The best part?  If I get this, I can skip the gym!

Bridal Veils - handmade, lovely and affordable

Some brides want traditional, others want retro and funky.  Of course both can be found on etsy.  Here are a few of my favorites.  Let's begin with this short blusher birdcage veil by Brenda's Bridal Veils. It's $61.99 and would definitely make a statement. 

If you're looking for something a bit more Jackie-O, look no further than this flyaway dotted birdcage veil just $70 from New York designer one little dove.  She's gotten quite a bit of press for her retro veils.  They are stylish and affordable.

If it's traditional you're after, check out this double blusher veil by Simple Beauty.  At $32, it's the least expensive veil I've featured.  But no less beautiful than any you can find at a high end bridal shop.

 

  
   
   

Wedding band - a bit pricey but oh my.....amazing

I'm madly in love with this ring ($16,000).  I keep going back to it hoping that it magically transports itself from the picture onto my hand.  Alas it still hasn't happened.  But someone needs to give this lovely piece of art a home.  The shop is called Artisans and in addition to this ring, there are a number of beautiful baubles.  Please, someone by this ring!  It's torturing me.

  

Not for every bride, but certainly worth a look - - Cake Toppers!

These are definitely quirky but for the right couple they are adorable.  While there are many cake topper companies that will design toppers in your likeness, those are usually expensive and, while charming, they miss the mark on the real kistch.  Check out these two cake toppers from Passion Arte and Bee Mine Design.  They are $110 and $45.  When you think about the cost of a cake, these are a bargain.  Plus, they don't get eaten so you can save them for your 25th anniversary party.
